Quatrihub has signed an agreement with PORTWEST – a global manufacturer and supplier of workwear and protective clothing – for the delivery of a modern warehouse and distribution facility in Dąbrowa Górnicza. The investment will be developed under the build-to-own (BTO) model and responds to tenants’ growing demand for facilities designed with their long-term operational growth in mind.
The new building will be located on a plot in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Dąbrowa Górnicza. Thanks to its exposure to the Eastern GOP Ring Road, the facility will be highly visible from one of the region’s key transport arteries. The investment’s location is an example of the transformation of post-industrial land into a modern, functional logistics space, in line with the concept of next generation warehouses.
Build to last
The project reflects the Quatrihub philosophy – build to last – based on long-term value, the highest quality of workmanship and operational efficiency. Infrastructure supporting employee wellbeing will also be an integral part of the investment, including an on-site basketball court.
„The choice of Dąbrowa Górnicza as the location for this investment is no coincidence. The Silesian Voivodeship has for years played a consistently important role in the development of the Polish warehouse market, combining excellent transport accessibility with a dynamically evolving post-industrial landscape. Our cooperation with PORTWEST confirms that Quatrihub’s strategy – based on quality, location and long-term thinking – resonates with the expectations of the most demanding tenants.” – comments Michał Pluciński, Managing Partner & Co-founder, Quatrihub
Beyond Standard
The facility, with an area of approximately 15,000 sqm will have a clear height of 20 metres, allowing the tenant to maximise warehouse space and, in turn, increase operational and logistics efficiency. The project fits into the market trend of flight to quality, i.e. tenants’ growing demand for top-quality facilities located at strategic, well-connected points.
„PORTWEST’s decision to carry out this investment in cooperation with Quatrihub confirms for us that quality – of both the location and the product itself – remains a key criterion in choosing a development partner. From the outset, PORTWEST has focused on solutions that will support the company’s growth over the long term as well. That is why we are designing the facility with above-standard solutions in mind, which will ensure greater operational efficiency and flexibility for further growth. Investments like this best show, in practice, what our build to last philosophy means.” – adds Aleksandra Kaczmarek, Managing Partner & Co-founder, Quatrihub
Completion of construction and handover of the facility to the tenant is planned for the second quarter of 2027 (Q2 2027).
